As a college student, my goal is to eventually be financially free, so I am always looking for extra tips in ways to make that happen eventually!

These are a couple of tips that I have found and absolutely love and that I have already started doing it and have seen great outcomes from.

1. 50/30/20 rule ✨

- 50: on needs

- 30: on wants

- 20: on future you

- This rule really makes it easy to make sure that you’re not spending too much in one area than another. I know that when I wasn’t doing this, I had no idea where my body was going and how much I was spending in each category.

2. Emergency fund 🚨

- From the 20% that you put away for future you, start a emergency fund for at least three months… and if you can find a big account that will also add interest on top of it.

- This way you are saving money, but also earning money as well… trust me you will thank yourself! 🫶🏼
