Huevos Honest Review 🥺

Went to Huevos yesterday after drooling over ig food account pics and hmmmm I have mixed feelings ab it 🤨

I went around 7pm and there was a short queue that extended quickly after. Waited arnd 30 mins! The restaurant was smaller than expected

I ordered all the staples i found to have good reviews on lemon8 and ig 😋 in general i have to say it was p good and affordable, but personally i think some items are overhyped, like if u dont rly like fish like me to begin with, the fish tacos isn’t rly gna change ur mind ab it. js order pork if that’s what u prefer even if it’s not their staple in online reviews.

I had high expectations for this cuz i alw see it on ig and it looks so goooood esp the sauce… maybe is cuz i was q full aft the appetiser alrd so it wasn’t mind blowingly good. i felt the taste was quite one dimensional. however, the meat was very generous and good quality, and the sauce was thick and flavourful. quite oily though, i don’t recommend eating more than 1 per person cuz may get too much. it’s nice and tastes like what i expected but wouldn’t crave it strongly sadly 😭

Ok wait personally i think this is too overhyped or it was just a bad day for them. The fish was big, crispy, and went well w the mango sauce and soft tacos, but by itself it didn’t have much taste, wasn’t as tender as i’d like it to be also

I think this was the best dish. Even tho it’s supposed to be an appetiser i was alrd q full after eating like a quarter of it (we shared amongst 2 ppl and couldn’t finish, had to tapao). But their toppings like guac and the chicken were so generous, the cheese still can pull even after it got cold?? i wld rate it full score if it had more sour cream. oh and can dip their chilli for extra spice 🌶️ it’s rly good

Waaaa this tastes like but is so much better than starbucks chai. It’s thick, u can rly taste the rice(?) and cinnamon like it’s not js some syrup flavouring. And i think for $6 for a big cup u can easily share amongst 2 ppl. It’s sweet but not too sweet and although it’s thick it’s not jelat 🤤 i’d rate it full score if they added whip cream or smth more to the presentation

overall thoughts: it’s worth a visit definitely, but maybe can try other items apart from the ones u keep seeing online. if i come back ill defo get the nachos but maybe try the pork or the quesadillas!!
