no longer gatekeeping my fave mexican restaurant

hey guysss i know this place is hardly gatekept since it’s the oldest mexican restaurant in singapore (32 years!!!), but i felt it being no longer spoken about. which is great for me because i went from having to have my fingers crossed on a friday night to guarantee a reservation for margarita jugs back in 2018, to being able to suggest it freely to my friends and mostly getting walk in spaces.

this is my all time favourite mexican restaurant! my parents went here when they first arrived 26 years ago, and were happy to find out i started going 5 years ago. their margaritas are reasonably priced (especially during happy hour) and have a perfectly authentic flavour, which the right amount of tequila and a well-frozen presentation.

the food is some of the nicest mexican food i’ve ever tried and again, reasonably priced. my absolute go to is their chicken quesadillas, but i also recommend:

- beef nachos

- pork chimichangas

- fish tacos

the menu has everything you can think of so don’t worry, you won’t be out of options!
