i finally got airpod max! are they worth it?

i’ve waited so long to do this review and tbh i didn’t think there would be a time where i could ever do this review BUT santa was good to me and this year i got a pair of airpod max for christmas! i used them all last night and this morning and have already ran down the battery a lot so i thought i’d share my initial thoughts!

firstly, the battery seems to be pretty good. i opened them up at about 11am on the 25th and they had a default 47%. then by 1pm on the 26th after lots of use already the battery was only down to 27% - which is better than the airpods first gen i have.

second - the noise cancelling feature is INSANE. i don’t normally like noise cancelling products because they give me anxiety and make my ears feel too blocked to enjoy, but this feature is super comfortable on my ears and makes the listening experience much better.

finally, the comfort of these headphones are unmatched. the reason i’ve never bought headphones is because i HATE how they feel. my ears stick out a little more than most people so headphones put a strain on my ears normally - i got a pair of beats in 2019 that i could only use TWICE before selling cos they were too painful - but these just feel like pillows on my ears. it’s amazing that i’ve finally found headphones that don’t cause any discomfort at all. i have to say my ears do feel a bit sweaty tho after use lol but maybe that’s just singapore, and it’s a bargain i’ll take if it means im able to wear headphones!!

overall i would say this product is a must have. they are on the pricey side but if you’re like me and don’t typically like how headphones feel, here’s a perfect solution!! they get a 10/10 for me!!
