Our Basic but Functional Coffee Corner Set Up

I am a three drink gremlin who often has 3 different drinks (1 to hydrate, 1 to caffeinate, 1 for fun) on my table to keep me functioning, so it was a no brainer for us to ensure we had a space allocated as a coffee/tea/drinks station during our home reno planning.

Our current set up is quite simple, but it works well for us so far! We like latte style drinks so it wasn’t important for us to have a serious espresso machine as the Nespresso system fits our needs very well. The important thing during planning was to ensure we had enough power sockets for both the coffee machine + milk frother, and any other appliances we may get in the future like an air fryer!

I also wanted a space to display our T2 canisters (we r big fans) and cute cups. The taobao display shelf also now holds a google home mini that we often use to play music while we work for the café vibes~. As we WFH, it’s been very relaxing to take a break in the middle of the day to make a coffee or whisk up some matcha.

We’re hoping to add in at least 1 open shelf on the wall above for a little more storage as our tea collection is starting to outgrow the current area.
