your morning sets the tone for the rest of your day, so it’s important to start off strong! these are my non-negotiables:

1) making the bed is a habit that gets me going and keeps me from crawling back in later. it will set the tone for your day!

2) water💧I drink a glass right after waking up and brushing my teeth. hydration is one of the best ways you can take better care of yourself

3) supplements include seed synbiotics, vitamin D, vitamin B, iron, biotin, lutein, and curcumin. sometimes we can't get all our nutrients from food, and I've been lacking these specific ones especially.

4) healthy breakfast because I have to eat before exercising, or else I get nauseous 🤢 others may prefer fasted workouts, but i am not one of those people haha

5) coffee, which I usually prefer drinking black but never on an empty stomach. this helps regulate your hormones

6) reading at least 10 pages of a self-help book to stimulate my mind with ideas and to motivate myself. this gets your brain jogging and transitions nicely into deep-focus work.

7) journaling about what I’m grateful for and what I plan to accomplish for the day. the key here is to outline step-by-step actions that need to be taken.

8) gentle movement such as a walk, yoga, or stretching. if possible, go outside and get your daily sunshine!

if u want to establish a morning routine, implement ONE thing at a time and see how u feel about it. for example, try taking a walk outside for 10 min and do this every morning for a week. then adjust based on how it went (would u prefer a shorter or longer time length? does it make more sense for u to pair it by with another habit that you already have in place?) the things I listed above are just what I have found to work well for ME. have fun experimenting with your ideal morning! ☀️
