this jb cafe was #NotForMe ☹️🙅🏻‍♀️

visited seven oaks bakery cafe a while back and WAITED for them to open because i saw they sold a variety of pastries and mains but was disappointed 😢

🚪interior:

the cafe was pretty spacious, with ample space for customers to be sat in. the pastries and bakes were prettily displayed in an all glass display case.

🍴what I ate:

lychee rose cruffin ~ $9RM

salted egg soft shell crab pasta ~ $30RM

lemon cheese croissant ~ $10RM

for me, most of the food items was #NotForMe .... the cruffin was quite hard, not what i have expected, even though it looked pretty. the salted egg soft shell crab pasta was disappointing because while it is suppose to be a salted egg pasta, there was only a hint of salted egg taste and majority was just cream taste. even though i would say it was quite worth as the pasta was only $10SGD 🥹🥲 the lemon meringue croissant was aesthetic and decent, the filling was light and citrusy, and love how the cream was nicely piped onto the croissant.

👩🏻‍🍳they have another branch that is more aesthetic and probably would consider trying there, though i would not revisit here 😢 pretty wasted because was so looking forward to it.
