the bun itself was SO GOOD 🤤🤤 the crispy flaky top layer with the body of the bun being soft and fluffy !! the whole bun is really good by itself even without the butter 🤩

and with the butter 👀👀 IT ADDS LIKE ANOTHER DIMENSION TO THE BUN because the thick cold slab of butter give you that gao-ness and saltiness to the sweet bun.

overall, I feel you are paying for the quality of the whole bolo bun but I don’t think it’s smth I would get frequently cause of the price

long story short, it taste like curry puff but in a bolo bun. the filling was more potatoey with chunks of potato while having a more subdued curry taste.

would before the one with butter over this HAHAH

👩🏻‍🍳 I think it’s good to try because the buns are really really good but ofc, there are cheaper bolo buns out there. still WORTH A TRYYYYYY
