pan fresco is a relatively new french-style bakery & café at the newly-renovated Shaw Plaza with affordable pastries from just $1.80!! 🥧

they have a wide selection of croissants, pies, tarts, breads, cakes and even the viral korean-style cube pies! 🍰 prices are also pretty affordable starting from $1.80, with most bakes sitting at around $2-5 each. 😋 all the pastries at the display honestly looked so pretty & delicious, especially all the fruit danishes & tarts 😍

i couldn’t resist trying the strawberry danish ($3.80) 🍓bc the fruits looked so fresh & ✨shiny✨. i would suggest eating this as soon as you get it as the flaky pastry would get soggy (like mine) if you wait too long…🫠 i wish the fruit component was more pronounced, maybe include like a jam inside the pastry itself also, as the various fruits were basically just a topping—the danish + custard part is all the same. 🍑🫐

there’s also a small seating area within the café itself so you can have the bakes fresh, as well as have a cup of coffee or tea too! ☕️
