Being Obedient is Hard, but Rewarding.

My freshman year of college the program director told me I would make a great teacher. I laughed at her and told her I would never be a teacher.

Ten years later I’m on my way to being a veteran educator and champion for children.

If you tell God your plans, He will laugh at you.

God told me to teach and no matter how much I fought, you can’t fight purpose and design!

It was God’s plan for me to be an educator and advocate for young people. I have been immensely blessed since becoming a teacher in 2014. Of course there were hard times and times that I wanted to give up, but staying the course has provided so many opportunities for me. Not only am I blessed by the students that I’ve encountered, I’m blessed through the collaborations I’ve secured being an educator and showcasing my relationships with students on social media.

Obedience was hard but I’m so glad I always listen to God. He has truly made a way for me and I am thankful!
