Diamonds aren't my best friend! 👎

Told my ex-bf / now-husband to get me a moissanite ring instead of a diamond one, so it wouldn't cost a 💣!

While I was excited about the idea of getting an engagement ring, personally I didn't think it was worth splurging on a diamond 💎 I'd rather use the savings for our honeymoon fund so we could both enjoy more fun experiences together instead~

Most of all, I think it was a good idea since I'm a huge scatter brain and wouldn't be able to wear an expensive ring without constantly being worried that I'd lose / damage it... (⁠ㆁ⁠ω⁠ㆁ⁠)

💰 In terms of price, I still have no idea of the actual price but my husb told me he customized it with a local jeweller and it cost less than 2K (for a 1 carat moissanite ring with a 16K Rose gold band + mini moissanite stones at the sides).

💭 It's been about 2 years since I got engaged, and I still wear it almost every other day :) probably due for a polish soon but it's holding up well without any chips! Also still receiving surprised looks from people when I tell them it isn't a diamond hehe 🤭
