Two bridal studios at affordable prices 👰🏻‍♀️👗

After choosing my gowns at Alisha and Lace, I decided to look for another white gown for my solemnisation and first march in.

I went to two bridal studios that were within my budget:

1. Affinity Weddings

2. TGC

Found this place via Instagram and saw a gown that I really like. I booked an appointment via Instagram and the replies were fast and friendly! Although the selection was not huge, we found out that Eugenia, the lady boss designs the gowns! Tried on 4 dresses including an evening dress and they were really comfy and pretty 😍 Sadly, the dress I wanted to try was not available hence I did not try on that day. I remembered that they have some promo if you sign with them on the first visit. Definitely do check them out as my experience with them was comfortable and the gowns were comfy in my opinion 😊

2. The Gown Connoisseur

Looked through their catalogue on their website and a few designs caught my eye 👀

Booked an appointment through their website and their replies were pretty fast! I was surprised that they could accommodate my schedule at a weekday 7pm so it’s great for brides to be who can only make it on weekdays nights.

The location of studio was not very convenient but I feel the most convenient way is to walk from Yio Chu Kang mrt.

The staffs there will ask you for your drinks order which is really rare (yes they serve drinks!) I had to fill a form with my details and indicate the types of gowns I was interested in. Afterwards, I was shown to a room with my name on the door. The room is cozy with a massage chair for your friend or partner to sit in. I was served by Vivien and she was friendly to talk to.

The studio did not have decisive pricing and it came with free delivery and pick up which I was thankful for. And also, I was able to change my gown even up to two weeks before my wedding day. It made the decision making even harder but I’m not complaining 😝

I signed with them that day to lock in the gown I was interested in.

Move forward to few months later, I was looking at their telegram group and they have new arrivals coming in, i immediately WhatsApp them and they shared photos of their new gowns 😍

I booked an appointment to try the new arrivals and the selections were really pretty; from laces to minimalist designs. I had a hard time deciding which gowns to choose and ended up going with the first gown I selected 😅

On my final fitting, I could choose accessories (earrings, necklaces and hair accessories) and a veil as well.

However, one unfortunate thing that I experienced on my actual day was that I felt that the gown alteration was a bit off. The train of my gown didn’t look like how it did during the fitting which was a pity. Regardless, I loved the design of my gown and would recommend to brides to be who are looking for a studio with a wide selection and a relaxing experience ☺️
