Let’s talk about turning 30 ☕️🐸

Please tell me I am not the only cusp riding genZ Millennial on Lemon8. Say It ain’t so please lol. I feel so out of place a lot of the time because I am a “young mom” 29 years old with older children, and I feel like we don’t see too much of that on the apps.

I will be turning 30 on the 19th, and it’s bittersweet honestly. I’ve learned so much over the years, and I would always look at 30 and say OMG that’s so old, but NOW that I’m going to be 30 in a few weeks, I have a slightly different attitude towards It all.

My mindset has shifted throughout my twenties and I feel a lot more wiser going into 30 than I did going into my 20s. I feel more stability and certainty in life and I’ve gather more conclusions to my thinking and I’m way less indecisive or people seeking for validation than I was in my earlier years.

I catch myself saying, oh I remember when I did that, and/or that didn’t work out well for me, I wish them the best. Like I have this sort of hindsight now given some experiences I’ve already lived through.

40 sounds really scary to me, and knowing it’s just a decade away is also a bit nerve wrecking, but age is just a number right?

Do you look forward to 30? Did you notice the same once you turned 30? Is 30 old or is It peace? I find myself more settled and relaxed now with more certainty of the future. I’m curious how you feel, or am I the grandma of the app? 🤣🥹
