Summer is here, and with it comes the most vibrant, delicious bounty of the year.

It's the perfect time to embrace my "healthy girl era" by trying new fruits and veggies that I would have never tried before!

Lately, I've been exploring the farmers' market, discovering some gems I hadn't tried before.

For instance, I tried heirloom tomatoes, which come in all sorts of funky shapes and colors, each one more unique than the next and I’m not a tomato girly.

Don't even get me started on berries.

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries – they’re all at their peak right now.

I love tossing a handful in and blending them into smoothies.

I’ve also been experimenting with stone fruits like plums and apricots.

These make for perfect on-the-go snacks or a sweet addition to salads.

Summer is all about fresh starts, and there’s no better way to embrace it!
