My face changed in a year

I’m one of those girls who shows how she feels on her face, REAL BAD.

A year ago my boyfriend not only broke up with me because I was too sad, but he also was hiding his 2 year old son from me and a new born on the way. ( we had been together since I was 14)

I went blonde and you couldn’t tell me nothing!!

But face told it all.

At some point I had mastered the face of emptiness and nothingness. Blank stares became my thing.

( I also went back to listening to alternative metal… Don’t judge me I love my rock)

My twin sister had just told me she was pregnant before we turned 25 and I that moment I questioned my identity as an individual and felt absolutely lost. I don’t like change but I had to tell myself “ okay Brittney, it’s time to live YOUR life now”. I met a guy who I shouldn’t have given myself to and he eventually told me he didn’t like me because I was waiting to live and was too into my head all the time.

I just turned 26 last month (August) and I made the choice to let go of a lot of things that bothered me in order to make room for the life that’s coming.. one of the first things I did was choose to fall in love with myself..

Looking back at these pictures, I’m like DAMN I WAS SAD, but I look so iconic 😎. The lashes definitely boosted my confidence.
