Before and After - Laundry room

So this is my laundry room. It was renovated in 2021, during the pandemic as part of the spring One Room Challenge!

My biggest challenge with this space was the clutter (such a huge eyesore) and lack of concealed storage. So I designed this cabinetry and had my carpenter make them.

My other challenge was the washer and dryer were too big for the space. The door from the laundry room to the kitchen doesn’t open all the way, and that made it hard to get it and out of the space. I really wanted to put a sliding door here, but it didn’t work out sadly lol. So I added compact stackable machines. These have been much better in terms of functionality in the same and mobility.

Another thing I added was a bench and some hooks. We put our shoes here all the time! The wallpaper adds a nice touch too.
