Hitting my daily protein goals have not been difficult for me, but hitting my fat goals have. I’ve been using a tracker the past week to see where I’m lacking when it comes to my goals and I learned that 1- calorie goals are not hit (big surprise there after bariatric surgery) and 2- I hit my protein goals, but am seriously lacking in fat and liquids. So this morning I made myself a treat! Iced coffee with a tbsp MCT oil, 3 tbsp heavy whipping cream and a half a cup of Fairlife (okay, maybe a LITTLE bit of protein) paired with 8 oz black coffee and a couple pumps of 0 sugar glazed donut syrup? YES PLEASE!
I’ll take this iced coffee over Starbies anytime.
