Nothing like lounging on the beach with a good book !

I started this book while on vacation in Costa Rica. I’m a little disappointed in how long it’s taking me to finish. A book I could’ve easily finished in a week is taking me FOREVER. It’s been a solid 3 weeks and I’m halfway done. I haven’t even picked it up since I got back from vacation. I’ve been adjusting poorly to say the least. Not finishing this book is at the top of my list of regrets .

I picked this book up because I am obsessed with Issa Rae ! I mean if you are familiar with her work, how could you not be ?! This book is amazing. It’s a peek into her life and extremely creative mind. It’s hilarious and real. The content has nothing to do with me not finishing it. The times I managed to pick it up, I could not put it down.

I’ve been carrying it around in my bag with the hopes that I’d pick it up again. It just has not happened yet. I definitely need to be more disciplined with my reading.
