The Reality of Being a Small Business Owner💡

Being a small business owner is hard work at times it’s exhausting and doesn’t feel so rewarding. But being your own boss is one of the best perks.

I started my business with 5k and have created an empire slowly but surely!! Things are not always perfect and there has been quite a few downfalls. But, the one thing I did was stay consistent. Consistency is key, even when the road is bumpy if you keep your mind on the outcome and stay focused you will achieve everything you want.

Some days business is booming, other days business is quiet. Business also shifts based on the economy that’s why it is really important to have a business that does not require too much overhead. If I can give a new business owner one piece of advice, it is keep your start up costs low! Invest the money you make back into your company but do not over spend when you are first starting out.

One of my issues in the beginning was I was a perfectionist. Therefore, I literally wanted everything to be perfect and run smoothly. As a small business owner you will soon realize things do not always run smoothly and there are a lot of hiccups along the way. But, that is OKAY!! Growth requires commitment and sacrifice.

To anyone having trouble starting their own business or to those who feel stagnant, keep going! You got this 💗💡✨
