📚”The Silent Patient” - Alex Michaelides

I can’t recommend this book enough! This book single handily got me hooked on reading thrillers, and I’m so glad it did. I loved how much suspense was added after realizing the narrator wasn’t as reliable as I thought in the beginning. Although I felt like it was slow at times, the ending made it all worth it. I did NOT see that plot twist coming! There’s not much I can say about this book without spoiling it, so you’ll just have to trust me on this one!

📚”Gone Girl” - Gillian Flynn

This is one of those books that will never stop being on my mind. I was hooked throughout the whole book, and I quite literally could not put my kindle down. Flynn flawlessly wrote a timeless thriller and included a genius amount of details. The writing is fantastic, and the character building is near perfect. Although I’m sad to have finished this book, I can’t wait to watch the movie now!

📚”If We Were Villains” - M. L. Rio

For the fans of “The Secret History”, I will admit these two books have very similar plots, but I would still recommend both of them! I enjoyed the Shakespeare references throughout this book way more than I thought I would! All of the characters in this book are so intriguingly complex, and their dynamics are captivating. I loved the way Rio described every scene and setting, adding so much to the plot. I stumbled across this book on accident, and I’m so glad I did!

🗣️ Have you guys read these books? I would love to hear your thoughts on them! I would also greatly appreciate any book recommendations you have ❤️
