Signs He’s Not The One (Insanely Specific)

Take everything I say with a grain of salt. I just got out of a year and a half long relationship and these are some things I’ve experienced that I feel others can probably relate to. These were things that I struggled with a lot in my relationship and that I now realize were never okay.

1) one thing that’s really cool about meeting new people is that we can learn more about ourselves. Sometimes a person giving you the bare minimum after another didn’t even give you that can seem a lot more special than it really is. Next time someone makes you feel really emotional. Instead of instantly idolizing them think about what part of you they have touched and why what they said or did impacted you so deeply. This can show us unhealed parts of ourselves that we should probably be working on by ourselves.

2)if you are in a relationship and your partner does not put in effort to prioritize your safety and well being then they shouldn’t be your partner. If this is not something that is extremely important to them, they are immature, unintelligent, and not deserving of you. This is something I will never take lightly again and neither should you. No type of explanation or reasoning behind why they couldn’t keep this standard is not something you should be understanding of in the slightest.

3)if your partner is like this they are extremely emotionally immature. It’s honestly pathetic. They genuinely are incapable of putting you first. They don’t know how to handle their emotions or be a genuine person. It will always be about them in their mind and they probably don’t even realize how incredibly wrong they are for doing so.
