What everyone should hear in their 20s

Sometimes you gotta be real with yourself and realize rotting in bed and and letting depression decide your hygiene choices will not fix it you gotta get up and it starts with something as little as washing your face.

The shift in my relationships old and new as I’ve navigated from teen to twenties has been a confusing vulnerable at times traumatizing path (a path i wish on no one in their 20s) but life happens and as it does so boundaries multiply this is where when I read this quote my mind opened to the thought of what am I really letting others get away with because this is a forgiving learning time and what really should be addressed.

20s is when someone is getting married , graduating college, traveling the world, getting married amongst other things. It’s also when the question of what are you gonna do with your life will be asked on a random drive to your cousin who is always compared to you and has settled down faster than you can find your left sock in the morning. And you won’t have the answer because you’re still figuring it out. You can’t just get to the top of the spiral staircase in one step.
