Day 1: My first day I started off with a 24 hour fast, only drank water & coconut water!
Day 2: I ate a delicious low starch veggie packed meal with kale, bell peppers, grilled onion, asparagus, cherry tomatoes w/ kimchi, almonds, sunflower seeds, and apple cider vinegar. (Forget to picture)
I snacked on popcorn! (No sugar, non gmo popcorn is acceptable)
For dinner I needed to add some Smokey tempeh on a delicious crunchy kale salad w/ apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, almonds and sunflower seeds and also had a probiotic miso soup to get extra full.
🥬CRUNCHY KALE SALAD RECIPE: (Picture 1 & 2)
-kale massaged w/ oil & salt
-almonds & sunflower seeds for that crunch
-healthy dressing + probiotics is apple cider vinegar & Dijon mustard!
-protein: Smokey tempeh (cooked it on pan w/ soy sauce, paprika, onion/garlic seasoning, s&p)
🍜GOCHUJANG MISO SOUP: (picture 3&4)
*for probtioics is important to add to your diet!
-sauté green onion, onion, & garlic (antifungal + probiotic)
-miso paste (1 tbsp)
-gochujang (1 tbsp)
-water or vegetable broth (I just used water)
-soy sauce (1 tbsp)
-seasoning: s&p, onion/garlic powder
-cherry tomatoes
-Smokey tempeh (cooked from before)
-cilantro
Feeling: today I feel normal like my body isn’t withdrawing from sugar/detoxing from sugar quite yet and my micro biome is very slowly adjusting, I feel strong and optimistic and still with regular energy.
