Let's talk about the sales of these "MRR" Courses and break down the details shall we? Is it a scam? Is it worth your time? What is in an MRR Course? Everything I am going to share with you today is from my own research, and based on my opinions from that research. I share this information with you so that you can form your own opinions and do your own research. I have been looking into this for about 1 month now. I have read about it, watched people on YouTube review these courses, watched videos of people who tried the program and have followed the sellers.

Firstly WHO IS SELLING MRR Courses?

The only people I have personally been able to find selling MRR Courses are MLM reps, so that was the first red flag to me when I was looking into this. An easy way to tell if an "iNfLuEnCeR" has been involved in shady business in the past is to type in their name on their profile or username and the word "scam" beside it into Google. Usually people that have stolen money from or taken advantage of will come up as well as commentary on their activities if they are involved in unethical practices. So for example if I was searching up the influencer Sarah profits (also known as Sarah Waldrop on her profile) I would type in "Sarah Waldrop Scam". However some of these ladies have started catching on and changing their names or making new Instagram accounts all together so be warned.

As I have become larger content creator with now over 300,000 followers on my other accounts it has disturbed me how many bigger creators are unethically taking advantage of their followers and influence. I strive to always be honest and start community discussions revolving around the truth even if I don't benefit from it at all or make money... I don't care.

SECONDLY WHAT IS MRR? and WHAT IS THE UBC MRR Course influencers have been pushing this past month?

MRR in itself is a business model where you can buy a digital product for let's say $500 and resell it for however much you want IF you can sell it. This means you have the rights to resell the product you bought for however much you want and to whomever you want. You can go and sell the course for $50 to 10 new people. This screams issues to me and sends off red flags in my head as a business owner myself.

UBC MRR is the reselling of a specific course it seems that all of these "influencers" have latched onto and it's called the "Ultimate Branding Course" (UBC). This course costs $500 USD and from what I understand it contains general information on how to market and brand yourself on social media. After attending a meeting with someone selling UBC on zoom it seemed very much like an MLM pitch to me. It wasn't clear exactly how this course would help me for example in my industry and just seemed like very general and basic information. One of the girls who is selling this course I actually did buy another $500 course from 2 years back and it was full of very general information I did not get value from it. To be clear every single influencer you see selling the "UBC" course is selling the EXACT same thing. The only difference is that they put their face on it and try to make it seem as unique and different from the others selling it as possible so they can make the sale to you and not their competitors.

If you have all of these popular influencers dominating the market and selling this course how are YOU going to find new buyers for it? What if other people sell the course for less than you and you don't know about it so you can't get sales? This isn't the part that I think is the most unethical about it though. The worst part is how these influencers are trying to push on people to buy the course and resell it. They claim you can make easy and fast money... They prey on people who are vulnerable and in need of money... sounds like an MLM to me.

WILL YOU MAKE MONEY WITH MRR?

I would say that realistically if you analyze the information logically you will not. Many people on YouTube have reviewed this course and have said that you can just find the information for free on Google, TikTok, Instagram etc. so if you are relying on the course to hold value for you to become this amazing serial entrepreneur I would say that is unlikely to be the case from this UBC Course.

But let's talk about the sales side. Can you make money with that? Will you earn $10,000, 30k like these girls promoting it? What I will say about that is that I DOUBT they are even making that amount of money. I have noticed that the people promoting UGC are often posting vague screenshots of dollar amounts they made through the course (selling it). I have noticed that these screenshots say "gross volume" on them. This is not profit and does not discount any expenses so to say you earned all of that is a lie. Why would they need to lie to you and inflate their numbers if this is such a good opportunity? 🤔

Furthermore if this is so lucrative to sell why do they want more people to do it? That will take sales away from them? That part really doesn't make sense... unless they know everyone they sell it to won't be successful with it. In their posts describing how you can be successful selling MRR to someone like me it almost seems like they are purposely setting people up for failure and just trying to get the sale done.

Here are some quotes of how they have described this "opportunity" and my reactions:

📝 Quote: "You could trade 1-2 hours of scrolling for a way to make EXTRA $$$ YOU COULD HAVE A NEW INCOME STREAM SET UP TONIGHT. A NEW BANK ACCOUNT BY SUMMER ☀️AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT LIFE BY THE END OF THE YEAR…" - @ sarahprofits on Instagram

😵‍💫 Reaction: If you sign up for this, and trade your time and effort that you are spending doing things you enjoy for this whether that be scrolling or spending time with your family there is NO guarantee you will make anything it would take you a lot of work and effort to make sales IF you even can because so many others are also targeting the same audience. She makes this seem like it's a job almost and you will have extra money and a whole bank account full of money by the summer? I would say that's about as realistic as winning the lottery. She also claims your life will be changed. To be fair this girl is notorious for making claims like this and scamming people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars in her previous mlms so I am not surprised HOWEVER even she is in her 30s and has not managed to change her life the way she described. She has admitted to having money issues, large amounts of debt and no consistent income which has led to her dealing with depression, health issues and more. This was all publicly posted over the past 2 years on her Instagram account (I have followed her for a long time because I used to look up to her). So if any of this seems appealing that is good to keep in mind.

📝 Quote: "My page is all about money, I will be showing you guys the amounts I make and if that triggers you then this is not for you"... "we love this lil digital marketing world we created" @ thousandpluswithjas on Instagram

🥴 Reaction: I think people are triggered because you are selling this course for an absorbent amount of money and when people buy it they realize that it's basic and feel ripped off. I think people are also triggered because you claim to be a business owner who created something when you didn't create or contribute anything to this you are simply reselling a course someone else created but lying to make it seem like more than it is and make yourself seem more credible than you are. After this she claimed her friend made 72K selling this course which made me stomach churn. What that means to me is that her friend took $72,000 of her followers hard earned money in a bad economy where people are struggling to buy food selling them something she knows doesn't have that kind of value. This is the second Instagram account this girl has created I believe she had to do this because so many people started calling her out on her first one and exposing how she has treated people she "did business" with in the past. If you look up "Jasmine Elizabeth scam" there are YouTube commentators who have audio and video recordings of her screaming at people for not making enough sales as well as bullying girls and trying to manipulate them... but she could have also created a new account due to legal issues of promoting this while being in an MLM with a non compete clause I honestly don't know for sure.

📝Quote: "I want to create an army of digital girlies who go on girl's trips all year round! Imagine how amazing it would be!! 🥹 If you're ready to join my community of digital girlies here's how 👇🏻 You buy the UBC course to learn everything about: branding, social media, online selling etc ..." @ digitalcashbabes on Instagram

😑 Reaction: This one I have issues with. First of all she is selling people the dream of traveling all the time which she hasn't even achieved yet, preying on people's emotions in a fragile economy. Don't get me wrong it's great to dream big but you have to have some type of results to back it up I don't agree with just selling a dream when she very well knows this course does not have the value she's promoting. Learn everything about such VAST and expensive topics... really? That is a huge reach and completely unattainable if you don't have a specific thing you are learning how to sell. Every single thing you sell online requires slightly different tactics this one just seems like she wants to sell hype. It strikes me as false advertising.

📝 Quote: "i purchased a course (yes you have to invest in yourself babe)... the course is so good that i binged it in 2 days 😅 i don't even binge tv shows! that's how freaking magnetic the energy in here is! everyone is HYPE ASFFF !!! but here's the best part: YOU CAN SELL IT FOR 100% PROFIT!!!" @ cashoutwithsadie on Instagram

🤐 Reaction: NO NO NO you do not have to invest to get this information it is free on the Internet 🤣 this woman strikes me as wanting to grab the money out of your wallet. Of course she finished the course in 2 days, it's very basic and simple information. It is not nearly as in depth as they are claiming it is so it's a quick read. Again she tried to sell the hype (do you see a theme here?) and AGAIN NO it's not 100% profit you have to deduct what you spent on the course AND taxes AND other expenses such as if you ran ads etc. She said she made $1000 afterwards in this post but she didn't though. She spent $500 on the course so that means max she made $500 and these ladies aren't telling us their expenses. She could be in the negatives but be too hyped up to realize which is the dangerous part of these MLM type scam groups. They get you so hyped up that you don't realize how much time and money you sink in.

Anyways that's all for this post, save it so the app brings you back for my next one. There is still so many posts and quotes I want to react to so this will definitely be a series. Comment your reactions please I would love to read them 🤭
