I was so happy to add to my spell-work and self-care storage today!
Alongside my medicinal herbs and tinctures and salts stored in my food pantry, I have a separate area of my home where I store non-consumables for rituals or beauty products or crafts.
I keep food grade Ball or Kerr jars for my teas and other food-grade products, and decorative bottles for my other dried herbs, salts, incense, room sprays, and flowers.
Here are some ideas for how you might categorize the non-consumable items in your ritual/beauty/craft space:
Rituals:
Candles and candle holders in various colors
Chimes and bells
Cloth squares or scarves in different colors
Athames (ritual daggers) or wands
Cauldrons or bowls
Incense holders and burners
Singing bowls or tuning forks
Beauty:
Reusable facial rounds for makeup removal or applying toner
Mixing bowls and applicators for DIY beauty products
Brushes for applying makeup or face masks
Spoons, spatulas, and droppers for measuring ingredients
Containers for storing homemade lotions, creams, or scrubs
Crafts:
Scissors, tweezers, and craft knives
Needles, yarn, and knitting needles for sewing or knitting projects
Paint brushes, glue guns, and hot glue sticks
Stamps, stencils, and washi tape for decorating
Clay sculpting tools or other craft-specific tools
These are just a few ideas, and the best way to categorize your items will depend on your specific practices and hobbies.
You can also group things by material (like wood, metal, or fabric) or by color.
No matter how you choose to organize them, having a dedicated space for these items will help you keep them from getting cluttered or lost.
