✅ Wedding Food Tasting

Did our wedding food tasting at Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant and it was such a great experience! As we are going for a small wedding we went for a 7 course Chinese lunch with Carlton Hotel Singapore which includes a complimentary food tasting with Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant !

Didn’t snap a photo of the cold platter but let me tell you, the roast duck we had was the highlight of the night, coming in with a bang to start our first course. The meat was juicy and the skin was crispy as hell that our guest wanted to order as ala cart after our food tasting. The next dish that stood out would definitely be the Lotus Leaf Rice with Diced Seafood. The ingredients given were generous! We thought it would taste like those normal lotus leaf rice we get outside but we were mind blown by this dish!

One dish that we didn’t enjoy however would be the smoked Chinese tea soya chicken (forget to snap a photo of it). Our guest felt that the chicken were abit too sweet or too salty. 🤣 But overall the dish is fine if we were to had it alongside with the rice!
