🍋How I got paid $1.2k/mth while studying in uni?👩‍🎓

✨Yup you didn’t see it wrongly, I got paid $1.2k per month even while I was studying in uni!

And here’s how to do it! 💜

Becoming a private tutor! It’s honestly one of the easiest side hustle to do while studying, as the pay/hr is so much more than doing any other part time job! 👍🏻

So you might ask how do I start giving tuition?

1️⃣ The easiest way is to ofc ask people around you if they know of anyone who needs tuition. If you are lucky, your friends/family might be able to introduce you to your first student! And that was also how I got my first student! Lucky me 🍀

2️⃣ If there’s no luck from friends/family, use telegram groups! There are multiple telegram groups that puts up tuition assignments which you can apply for! They will list the subject, price and location so that you can choose your preferred one. Apply as many as you can, so that there will be a higher chance of being selected! 🤩

3️⃣ To get more than 1 student, don’t be paiseh to ask your tutee’s parents to recommend you to other parents! Some parents will join a school parent group and often in the group there will be other parents looking for tutors. If your tutee’s parent is in the group, you can ask them to recommend you to the other parents! I found this the easiest way to get new students, as you don’t have to do much searching/negotiating of pay. Usually the parents will know what are your rates before approaching you! I actually got 3 other students based on parents referral! Which was awesome! 👍🏻
