City Guide: Milan, Italy

Milan, Italy is a huge metropolitan city located in the northern part of Italy. This city is huge and it can be a bit overwhelming deciding what to see and do while here. These were my 3 favorite things I saw during my short 48 hours here:

1) Galeria Vittorio Emanuele II: This is the place to go if you’re looking to shop for luxurious brands during your trip to Milan. Even if you don’t plan to shop during your trip, it is definitely worth taking a walk through. The entire building is gorgeous and the store set ups are also beautiful. There’s lots of restaurants here as well making it a perfect lunch stop.

2) Starbucks Reserve Roastery: it is one of my missions to make it to all 6 reserve roasteries around the world. The other ones are located in New York, Chicago, Seattle, Japan and Shanghai. In the Milan location you can find tons of unique hand crafted drinks, pastries, salads, pastas, and one of the best espresso martinis in the world!

3) The Last Supper Painting: This original painting done by Leonardo da Vinci is a must see when in Milan. This painting was finished in 1495 and has been well preserved in its original location.
