What I don’t want to see on this app

I’ve seen so many girls post about how angry they are when they see men on this app. I understand where the feelings come from, but I think it’s unrealistic to think that men wouldn’t want to join a social app. And that’s a whole other convo for another day. What really grinds my gears is celebrity worship posts.

I cannot tell you how quickly I push that little button to “see fewer posts like this” or if the page is all celebrity gossip/worship “see fewer posts from this creator” or I’ll just block the page.

Can the normal non influencing girlies have anything?! I think it’s beautiful that celebrities are mostly not on here. They have great success with every other app - why must we sit over here and talk about them?

I understand the context of talking about your favorite show, or favorite song/band, or showing exciting memories from a concert or something along those lines. But omg how do you care so much about who celebrities are fighting with, fucking, talking about or what they’re eating or what products they are telling you they use so you’ll buy them. There is nothing real about that media world.

I just want to see real, regular girlies living their amazing lives, sharing their thoughts, being in community with one another and worrying less about influencing and follower counts.

Authenticity over everythingggg.
