I call it … my “carffice”

My son goes to a private school that is 45 minutes from our house. Instead of driving back home and then back again, I just find places to work while I’m out there. Thankful for remote work, it is the only way this single mama would be able to provide what I do for my son.

The school in our district is simply not an option for us, that’s a story for another time. But before this I was homeschooling my son. Homeschool and working two separate remote jobs, while trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle by cooking at home and staying on top of all household chores … was killing me.

I have become to grateful for the few hours of peace to work in my car, while my son is getting the best education I can provide.
