That time Reese’s Book Club didn’t let me down

This a very easy read that will keep you turning the pages. I started it after work one night and finished it around one in the morning. But, that honestly might just say more about my binge reading/watching tendencies more than anything else. I have a problem, I know.

While the story does a good job of capturing your attention, there’s nothing particularly revolutionary or mind blowing about it. It’s just a good, middle of the road novel that I don’t regret reading. Think true crime meets Lifetime and that this book’s vibe. But, thankfully, it’s not filled with pure sap.

But perhaps my favorite thing about it is that the author actually provides a very real and bittersweet ending. It would have been easy to cheese it up. Instead the main character really comes full circle and you can’t help but root for her.

I just watched the trailer for the TV show, which is out now, and it looks so good! Anyone else planning to watch?
