BOOK REVIEW: The Fury

Liked:

- The murderer AND murdered are unknown for the majority of the book

- I liked that the narrator spoke directly to the readers

- Michaelides connects his other books to this one, which I thought was pretty cool, but also means you need to read them in order so you won’t get spoilers

Disliked:

- The book is called the Fury and is meant to have a lot to do with the wind, but I didn’t feel like it was utilized enough in the book? It was lightly referenced if anything

- Very slow-paced. I didn’t get invested in the story until the end.

Overall, I enjoyed the story, but it isn’t my favorite of Alex Michaelides’ books. It’s another solid psychological thriller if you’re looking for one though! My ranking of Michaelides’ three books would go:

1. The Silent Patient 4.5/5

2. The Fury 4/5

3. The Maidens 4/5
