Do I Know You? (book review)

Following the story of Eliza and Graham, the two realise the change and fading of sparks in their relationship after been married for 5 years.

What makes it worse, is that they’re going to celebrate their 5-year anniversary in a luxurious hotel sponsored by Graham’s parents, in separate rooms. And they still fail to resolve their issues.

Until David gets in the picture — that’s when Eliza and Graham agree to play pretend.

That they’re totally strangers getting to know each other.

From the POV of romance tropes, I think that this book has a fresh perspective and not the cliche ones.

Even though at first, I find that the beginning of this book quite slow and draggy, but my reading pace escalates as I reach the middle to the end of this story.

I’m really rooting for Eliza and Graham.

I still believe in them even when they constantly have circumstances, the intruding negative thoughts and barriers that still separate them.

I love how this book projects the not-so-beautiful parts of being in a romantic relationship, especially marriage.

It’s raw, blatantly honest yet hopeful that not everything should be solved by divorce or separation, if both parties are willing to fight for their marriage and relationship.

I swear that I love this book. I hope you guys can give it a try too.
