The Voss family is a very dysfunctional family and has a reputation around town for it. Merit is fed up with the way her family treats her and the secrets she’s forced to keep. Merit finally reaches a breaking point and decides to shatter the happy family charade. 💥

With or without Merit.

This book was interesting and odd at the same time. I thought to myself several times — she did what? she said what? And of course most of the characters had odd names as per usual with Colleen Hoover. 🧐

I really liked Merit. I thought she was funny and witty. There was just something about her I really liked. 🩷

The story however was a bit odd. Maybe that’s what kept me interested? The story felt a little immature. 🤔
