You have to read this now, if not sooner.

I had the privilege of receiving an advanced reader copy of Hey Hun: Sales, Sisterhood, Supremacy and the Other Lies Behind Multi-Level Marketing. I received my physical copy on the pub date of 5/30/2023, and I implore you: even if you don’t love to read, read this book. Let me tell you why.

The author, Emily Lynn Paulson, gives a raw and real firsthand account of her experiences at the top of the pyramid. She shares candidly how she got in, what happened in the middle, and why she got out.

I have firsthand experience with MLM myself, but not to this extent. Despite my not being “all in” when I dabbled in this industry as a side hobby, I can attest that the author’s descriptions of the manipulation, control tactics and generalized grossness of the industry are accurate. She does not hold back, but more importantly, she calls herself out just as much as she does the others and the industry as a whole.

When we know better, we do better is my takeaway from this book. We can only hope that more people open their minds to knowing more, and in turn, knowing better and doing better.
