Come Visit My Local Library

I love my local libraries. I’m lucky enough to have several different libraries very close to my house. It give me access to so many different things. They have free passes to museums, crafts, computers, study rooms, and of course books!

1️⃣ my first stop on this visit was the hold shelf. I had reserved some books online and needed to pick them up.

2️⃣ the next stop was to check out the used book shelf they have. It operates on an honor system, so you just put some cash in the box and you’re good to go! I had some coupons for this but didn’t get anything this time.

3️⃣ the next stop was the seed library. Every month we can pick three seed packets. They cycle the seeds depending on what is in season! It’s such a fun idea and great for people who want to start or expand their home gardens!

4️⃣ now it’s time to peruse the shelves! I love looking for mysteries, especially the cozy mysteries. They’re so fun and quick to read! I ended up picking up 4 mystery books! Two are based in London and two are based in France. I like to read books set in other countries so these were perfect.

5️⃣ finally it’s time to check out! I don’t need to scan books individually at this library. All we have to do is put the books on the tray and it does it all instantly. It’s amazing!
