The birthday list 🚓🫙☑️🎂

After five years, Poppy Maysen is almost done completing her later husband’s birthday list. One night as she is completing one of the items on the list she finds herself in front of Cole Goodman, the police officer that gave her the devastating news that her husband was murdered.

There is an immediate attraction to Cole that Poppy frankly was not ready to experience because after all,in her heart and soul, she is Jamie’s wife.

I read this book for my book club and if it wasn’t for that reason, I think I would have DNF this book. I didn’t particularly like Cole because I thought he was somewhat pushy but overall not a bad MMC. I felt like there was a bunch of coincidences throughout the book that some could have been left out.
