1. Everyone says that Bulgarian splits squats are one of the hardest exercises, and I’m here to give you a 10 second set up to help you get the most out of them...

Step 1: put your foot on the bench

Step 2: sit back into that foot

Step 3: bring your knee to the floor

Step 4: grab the dumbbells

Step 5: push yourself up from the floor and begin your set

2. Despite popular belief a sumo squat does not target the glutes more, a sumo squat actually targets the adductors, which are the inner thighs. You want to do a squat variation that you have your feet closer together, so that you can hinge at your hips.

3. A lot of commercial gyms don’t have a hack squat, and although hack squats are one of the most optimal movements to target the quads, you can modify this movement by using a landmine!
