What’s a good back workout without a lat pull down variation??

I’m sure you see lat pulldowns all over social media, and it’s important to know that one is not better than the other, there’s many different variations for a reason, choose the one that feels best for you, and that you enjoy most!

I love incorporating different variations in different training blocks so that I can progress and gain strength

1. Overhead lat pulldown can be done with a rope attachment to target the inner back and lats

2. A single arm lat pulldown can be done with a single hand grip, a.k.a. a D handle to target the lats

3. A wide grip lap pulldown is one of the most traditional versions that you likely see, you can use that long, straight bar for these and it will target both the inner back and lats

4. A close grip lat pulldown is done with a grip that is closer than shoulder with a part, pulling it directly in front of your body which will target mostly lats
