Yes, I have fibroidsā ļø and yes, frankly They SUCK. However, I researched they didnāt have to suck anymore. Which sparked me to dive deeper. After extensive readings, I found for me personally there were two problems I hadā¦. I didnāt sync my workouts OR eat the right foodsš„²

Skipping the workouts for now, I was NOT eating the right foods. Truth be told, my parents come from rough backgrounds, so as younger parents without their parents, we learned together. Which meant we didnāt always have access to the classy food I can purchase now. I was eating a LOT of processed foods, white starches, super sugary desserts, literally think of the worst foods, thatās what I had access to. Why? They are cheap. But that caught up to me FAST. Not long into my reproductive years I started having PROBLEMS (which I touched on briefly in another post). After researching I found the two worst food items were caffeine & white starchesā¦ aka my diet. Sooooooo that leads me to what Iāve done sinceā¦

Pastas - goneā¦ white rice - goneā¦. Bleached Flour - GONEā¦
It was difficult and really emotional for me at first letting go of some of my FAVORITE meals.
Pastas - I use chickpea noodles now
White rice - I do brown rice and I also eat a lot of quinoa too!!
Bleached Flour - I use oat flour for a lot of my cooking now! Makes a very minimal difference honestly!
I also stick to organic foods for the most part.

What Iāve found syncing my meals to my cycle along with cutting out damaging foods:
ā¢ bloating is MINIMAL
ā¢ my breakouts have lessened
ā¢ my reproductive pain is getting better ever month
ā¢ I have more energy than I used to
ā¢ I no longer get weird rashes on my body
ā¢ my stools are passing smoother
ā¢ my migraines have lessened (I was diagnosed with chronic migraines in 2021)
ā¢ I donāt get as sore after working out

Truth is Iām not perfect, I still on occasion have a good sushi roll with white rice, but I donāt crave it like I used to. I can tell itās healed my gut so much that when I ācheatā a meal. I feel it!!
