I recently returned from a week-long trip to Japan and I went crazy with trying all of the different foods. I walked over 15,000 steps everyday touring Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, so my appetite higher than usual.
🍴For Breakfast: I started each day with chicken and sticky rice. I LOVED the rice and it reminded me of my mom’s home cooked food. (My family part Chinese, so I ate alot of rice growing up.)
🍴For Lunch: I had a small sushi box that I picked up at a convenience store, but a little over an hour later, I was hungry again so I stopped at a restaurant to eat a small margherita pizza with a side of Japanese soda (the flavor I drank tasted alot like ginger ale).
🍴For a snack: I tried matcha tea latte cotton candy and as someone who is OBSESSED with matcha, I LOVED THIS COTTON CANDY. It was so good, but of course pretty messy.
🍴For dinner: I finished the day with another small sushi box from a grocery store. On this particular day, I didn’t feel like eating at a restaurant because I was so tired, so I bought this instead. However, even the grocery store sushi is 1000x better and fresher than any sushi I’ve eaten in the US.
