Dreamy pre-wedding shoot straight out of k-drama🥹

In 2022 when covid situation was getting better and some borders were starting to open up, Korea was one of the countries that have VTL travel with Singapore. We actually planned to take our photoshoot in Singapore but because we wanted to travel to desperately, so we decides might as well take our photoshoot in overseas!!

While I was researching on Korean photography studios, I came across this local studio called OneThreeOneFour that offers overseas photoshoot and they have their own photographers based in those places!

Sharing some of the pros and cons here:

❤️ How about the makeup and gowns?

On the photoshoot day, we went to the makeup studio that was pre-arranged for makeup and choose our gowns. The photographer met us in the studio in late morning and drove us to the locations.

❤️ Is language an issue for concern?

Not at all as we have a coordinator/translator throughout the whole process! She is a Taiwanese that is fluent is Chinese/English/Korean. She gave us clear instructions through whatsapp like where and what time to meet, and also translated for us during the makeup, gown selections and photoshoot! There is also an assistant followed us along and she helped me to carry my gowns and touched up my makeup!

❤️ Do you think it is worth it?

Personally yes! It costs us around 3k which is about same rate as Singapore. The shoot was 6 hours long and covered 3 locations with different styles. We got back ALL raw images -around 600 (perfect for people who knows how to photoshop raw images) and 60 edited photos. Photo album is included too!

❌ Gown selection was a bit rushing for me as it was done on the same morning

❌ Not much selections for guy’s suits

❌ Korean photoshoot is very proper and demure. So if you prefer a more casual shoot, you may not like it

❌ Need to have plan B if there is bad weather or your photographer fall sick that day as its hard to reschedule for overseas shoot

Overall I would highly recommend this studio to those couples that love a fuss-free photoshoot experience in overseas! In the event that you can’t make it to your overseas trip, you can do your photoshoot in Singapore instead so your deposit will not go wasted!
