Low Cost Bus (LCB) Experience to Tokyo (Aug’24) 🇯🇵🚌

After alighting from my airjapan flight from SIN to NRT, i took the Low Cost Bus (LCB) from Narita Airport Terminal 1 to Tokyo Station 🚉 and here’s my experience of it! Excited to experience Japan in the summer season!! 🤩

💰How much is it?

The price for a one way ticket from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station has increased from 1,300 to 1,500 yen for adults from August 1. This is the first fare increase since March 2021.

🎟️ Can you swap bus timing after you got the ticket?

Yes! We managed to switch the timing from 11am to an earlier timing at 1040am by asking the staff at the booth.

📍Where is the Low Cost Bus Ticket Booth?

- T1: 2 booths each located right outside the Arrival Lobby at the North & South Wing on 1F

- T2: 2 booths each located right outside Arrival Lobby A & B on 1F

- T3: 1 booth located right outside Arrival Lobby on 1F

📏 What guidelines to take note of?

🔹Please be at the disembarkation point at least 5 minutes before departure. It is first come first serve so you might not get to sit with your travel companions!

We joined the queue 10 minutes before and there were people already waiting 🥲 Since the bus comes over from T3 and T2 before going to T1, it could already be filled 50-60%.

HOWEVER there are selected bus timings where the bus starts at T1 directly, so you can consider buying tickets at those timings and arrive earlier if you want to sit together!

🔹Please use the restroom before boarding the bus since it is an hour long ride.

🔹 Please refrain from eating and drinking on the bus so as to not disturb other passengers. If you have to eat, please remember to remove your rubbish instead of leaving on the bus!

Saw the bus driver chase a china lady tourist down to return her the food trash she left on the bus *the lady inconsiderate max* 🙄

🔹 Please use your seatbelt. Wearing a seatbelt has been compulsory since June 1, 2008.

🔹Please show your bus ticket to the attendant.

🔹Customers are limited to 1 suitcase (3 measurements within 158cm (approx.)). You will be issued a tag number that the staff will verify before letting you collect your luggage.
