Viral lip products: are they worth the hype?

It seems like every day another lip product is blowing up on social media, but are they really all worth the hype? Here is my honest opinion on if they are worth your money or not.

• Hourglass: Phantom volumizing gloss bomb

YES ✅

This is such a good lip product. It has really nice color pay off and gives you such a nice pout. I find the formula creamy and have no issues with peeling throughout the day.

• Tarte: Maracuja juicy lip balm

NO 🚫

I am really not a huge fan of this brand overall but I found this product to be nothing special. It was ok but I feel your money could be spent better elsewhere. I also noticed it peels throughout the day.

• Fenty: cream, gloss bomb, heat

YES ✅

Fenty has seriously some of the best lip products on the market. They have great pigment, aren’t sticky and really I find myself reaching for them every day.

• NYX: shine loud

YES ✅

If you are someone who loves a gloss look but doesn’t want to have to continuously reapply throughout the day, this is the lip product for you.

• Maybelline: superstay vinyl ink

NO 🚫

I found these to be super over drying on my lips. The formula looked crusty on me and did not look great overall.
