🩷This is what worked for me, based on the research I did and my body goals! My goal is to body recomp and get under 25% body fat I stopped loooking for validation from my scale especially with weight lifting! You are building muscle while burning fat, that can cause scale fluctuations that can be a bit discouraging if your aren’t reminding yourself “muscle weight, muscle weight, muscle weight”
🩷 What you eat matters more than any exercises/ workout you do! You can’t out exercise a bad diet! So finding a “diet” which should rlly be a nutrition plan that works best for you and remaining consistent is key!!!
🩷 remember if you have a bad day! Do not
just throw away your progress, one bad meal once in a while is okay you are human! Over restricting yourself, or trying every new fad diet you run across is a good way to ensure you won’t stick to your plan!
🩷 Gym anxiety is so real I had it bad when I first started! But I promise nobody in that gym cares what your doing😭 if you think we’re staring at you I promise I just zoned out between sets n I’m in my head trying to remeber how to breathe 😭
🩷 Start now! Don’t think to hard! Don’t wait for a perfect day, I started working out on a random Wednesday after my brother graduated hs and I saw how much bigger I looked in my dress compared to when I wore the summer before😭 not being able to post a picture with my little brother and celebrate him rly did it for me so I took my lazy butt back to the gym!
🩷MOST IMPORTANT!! Take weekly/biweekly progress pictures, ur scale may not be moving but baby pictures don’t lie!!!!
