I highly recommend this Peruvian restaurant located in Hell's Kitchen! It has affordable prices, a great ambiance, and excellent service. The storefront may not look impressive, but the interior is a hidden gem. The main dining area is in the basement, decorated with tree branches, and there's a beautiful large concrete column in the middle.

🍷Sangria (Pitcher) $48

Their sangria is incredibly delicious! It's sweet with a perfect blend of fruity flavors, and it's not too strong. I feel like I could drink a whole pitcher by myself!

🥩Anticuchos $18

This is an appetizer of beef heart skewers. The flavor is fantastic, and the sauce complements the beef perfectly. It's also served with large Peruvian corn kernels.

🐟Mixto $28

This is a local specialty consisting of marinated raw fish slices, including corvina, shrimp, octopus, calamari, and scallops. It has a tangy and refreshing taste, making it perfect for summer.

🍗Juanita's Chicken (whole) $24

We ordered their signature whole chicken, which is roasted to crispy perfection. The chicken wings are especially crispy, and the excess fat on the skin has been rendered off, while the meat remains juicy.

🍚Arroz Chaufa $22

Out of all the dishes, this fried rice is the only one I wouldn't recommend. The chicken breast inside is dry and flavorless, and the rice is rather hard and difficult to chew. The overall taste is quite bland.

🥩Lomo Saltado $32

This dish is exceptionally delicious. It consists of sliced fillet mignon stir-fried with onions and potato sticks. The sauce is rich and pairs perfectly with rice or bread as a side dish.
