Impt to note for electrical discussion! ⚡️🔌

We know from our friends and fellow homeowners that electrical points are very impt, must plan properly! 📝

We also chose our ID’s electrician instead of looking for our own (though the price is steeper), as we wanted to maintain one point of contact throughout the reno process. True enough, our ID did most of the liaising with the electrician and make sure all our requirements are met.

❗️The electrical works should go first, that also means we have to confirm the plan asap. We sat down with our ID and discussed the points we wanted, based on our lifestyle. We go with the mindset that more is better so BAMMMM, we ended up with a 4k invoice which includes:

1. Electrical points

2. Appliances installation for eg. Fans, lighting

3. Installation of switches

4. Switches from Legrand

📢 IMPT TO NOTE:

- Visualise where you need the points, more is really better than less

- Bring the electrical plan down to site and imagine the where you wanna place the switches, whether it’s the position or the number of gangs you need

- Some switches can do two way (save your marriage)

- If you engage your own electrician, make sure you follow up closely!
