5 hobbies I've pursued that WORTH to try!

Hello Lemon8erss, happy weekend.

Today i wanna #ShareMyHobbies with you guys. I love to try new things, and right now I have 5 hobbies that I'm currently pursuing & obsess with. But, are all my hobbies worth to try? I'd like to say –YES!

1. Reading - This is what my mom called a HOBI MAHAL. Yes, its MAHAL because u need to buy a book that might cost RM50+ per book. but for me, yes! It's a hobi mahal because the knowledge in that book is MAHAL. But you may buy a preloved one or an ebook. I love reading brand new physical book hehe! I'd can spent almost entire day to read. Reading really help to improve vocab, imagination & learn a new things. At the same time, i can improve your communication skill.

2. Journaling - I think this is the most mahal hobi that I love to do 😅. I love to buy a lot of washi tapes, stickers, pens, stamps etc for my journal. I hv been journaling since 2017. It's my kind of therapy! I feel calm and happy. This is how I express my feeling & manage my day ahead. I do hv alot of journal - bullet journal, reading journal, art journal & movie journal.

3. Crafting - I hv being obsess with crafting since I was SPM till now. I still making jewelries and keychains. Back then, I love sculpting polymer clay, making jewelries & DIY-ing. It's a fun project. I hv learn alot. FYI, crafting was my first income that I earn before I go to college. WORTH it right?

4. Drawing - I love drawing since I was in kindergarten. I was inspired by my uncle. I love to conteng his sketchbook tho 😅. Then, he used to buy me alot of coloured pencils & markers. I totally in love with it till now. Am I still drawing? YES! Whenever I stress out, I dooddling because I don't bring my journal everywhere sometimes. A piece of junk paper help me alot. On weekend, I'll draw something on sketchbook to improve my skill. Practice makes perfect, right? However, most of art supplies can be so expensive but i trust me, it WORTH it! This also one of my side-income when I was in college. I make bookmarks with my hand-drawn characters and art print. I so happy doing this 🥰. Believe or not, I'm also able to sell my art internationally 💪🏻

5. Baking - this is the hobby that I really grateful about. Baking help me alot for my extra money beside my salary. Alhamdulillah, I still receive order eventho I open order only on weekend ✨ I would never stop baking! I learn a lot of new recipes, sharing tips, meet new friends & even I can r&d my own recipe. It's cool, right? I always have a dream to open a book cafe one day in Terengganu 😅. Baking gives me joy & happiness. And also give you KENYANG, ofc.

So, I think hobbies are not a wasteful thing to do. Its something we could learn from it like improving skills, making profits & even for our mental health therapy. Hobby is something you interest with & enjoy doing it. Till now, see you in next post 😘
