Let’s Refesh Area Rug

Let’s refresh my living room area rug in 2 min flat.

You’ll Need:

▪️All you need is scissors ✂️

▪️A small bowl

How To:

▪️Go along the edge and gently snip away the pulled strands from the edges. Collect your snippets in a bowl (so they don’t stick to the carpet) and throw away.

A 2 min chore that completely transformed my old area rug and she looks brand new now!

TIP:

You could totally use a fabric shaver, BUT I typically use my fabric shaver on my way out of the house (instead of using it on batches of clothes at a time) so I don’t really want grim & germs from my carpet on my clothes all day. Yes I could wipe it, but I don’t really believe that will rid it of all the nasty that my floors would put on it. I’m sure that would probably be faster though, if you went to go that route.
