✨Okay, let's dive right in. Despite my initial reservations, I wanted to approach this book with an open mind, despite my initial uncertainty about how I felt regarding the age difference and other elements. The portrayal of PTSD in the female main character felt incredibly authentic, and I found myself strangely drawn to her. I appreciated how Ryke, the male main character, cared for Daisy, and throughout the entire book, his intentions were clear and concise. However, I really wish the author allowed us to see Daisy healing from all of the hurt and finding herself, etc.

On the other hand, the constant selfish behavior of the supporting characters in this book really irked me. Overall, it was a quick read, and I'm pleased to check off another book from my TBR list. If you've read this book, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
